Meet the Inspire to Oustand team

Tracey began her career in 1996, training as a nurse and dedicating much of her professional life to neonatal intensive care. She later advanced to the role of Clinical Matron, overseeing four major departments. For the past two decades, Tracey has transitioned into academia, first as a teaching fellow and then as a senior lecturer at a world-renowned university. In this capacity, she has presented at numerous UK and international conferences and has been widely published, including the release of her own academic book in 2020. Tracey is also a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has contributed to the development of educational modules for NHS England and the World Health Organization.

For over 10 years, Tracey has served as a Clinical Specialist Advisor to the Care Quality Commission (CQC), where she met Sophie in 2018. Together, they collaborated on NHS inspections and quickly developed a close friendship. Tracey’s interest in aesthetic medicine began a decade ago when she completed her first qualification in the field. In 2019, she and Sophie co-founded Inspire to Outstand, a business designed to help healthcare organisations navigate the complexities of CQC registration and prepare for rating inspections. With their combined expertise, they saw an opportunity to assist others in managing the challenges of healthcare regulation.
 

Tracey also runs her own CQC-registered clinic, Blend Skin, in Cheshire, which she co-owns with her daughter, who is also a nurse. Over the past three years, she has been a judge for the Aesthetics Awards and has spoken at prominent industry events such as CCR, ACE, BAMAN (BACN), AM Live, and AM North. In addition, Tracey has contributed articles to the Aesthetics Journal and the Journal of Aesthetic Nursing, and has recently served as a peer reviewer for BAMAN competencies.
